YOU CAN’T SERVE TWO MASTERS
No man can serve two masters. You’ll either love the one and hate the other
FINANCE FRIDAY
And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves. And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves – Matthew 21:12-13
God is not against money, but He’s most certainly against the love of it. Money’s not the root of all evil, the love of money is. Some, motivated by lust and greed, have hijacked the Gospel and made it about money just to line their pockets. God is dealing with them this season.
When you love money, you can only pray soulish prayers. The Spirit of Mammon that’s been hogging the pulpit is on its way out so that God’s People can humble themselves before Him, repent of their sins and pray earnestly and truthfully.
No man can serve two masters. You’ll either love the one and hate the other. No man can serve both God and money. Money has become an idol in the Church and God is smashing that golden calf in this Season. Those who’ve been peddling the Gospel for money will be destroyed with their false god.
PRAYER
Father in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I thank You for this Season of Separation. I repent of making money an idol. Search my Soul and purge it of the love of money so I can be devoted to you and only you. Amen.
