WORKS AND REWARDS

Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath – Romans 2:6-8

Eternal Life is both a Gift and a Reward. The Gift of Eternal Life is what we receive at the New Birth for the sole Purpose of doing Good Works on earth.

If we continue in well doing or doing Good Works and seek for Glory, Honour and Immortality, we’ll be rewarded with entering the realm of Eternal Life when the Lord returns.

But if we do evil works, we’ll be rewarded with Indignation and God’s Wrath in the Lake of Fire. Every Branch in Him that bears Good Fruit shall be saved but every branch that bears evil fruit shall be cut off and thrown into the fire.

I am God’s Workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do Good Works which God prepared in advance for me to do. Glory to God!
