WILL YOU BE ABLE TO STAND?

And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended (fall away) – Mark 4:17

We’re about to see the greatest falling away in the history of the Church. Persecution is coming to our generation and many aren’t ready because they’ve never been told that we’re called to not only believe in Christ but also to suffer for Him (Philippians 1:29).

When persecution breaks out, they’ll discover that they have no root. They’ll discover that the false doctrines they’ve been hearing didn’t prepare them for enduring mockery, scorn, imprisonment, violence and even death at the hand of their enemies.

When danger comes, they’ll be offended as to why their confession of Psalm 91 is not working. When the violence breaks out, they’ll question, ‘Where is God’ and lose their faith. When death comes knocking at their door, they’ll deny the Lord and He’ll deny them, and blot out their names from the Lamb’s Book of Life.

PRAYER

Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, prepare me for the coming persecution that I may stand and not fall away. Lead me to a Church that teaches the Doctrine of Christ that I may be prepared. Amen.
