WALKING IN THE LIGHT OF HIS WORD
If we walk in the Light as He is in the Light, we’ll never lack.
MONEY MONDAY
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple – Psalm 119:130
When God speaks, He gives us Light. His Word is a Lamp unto our feet and a Light unto our path. This world is a dark place. 1 John 5:19 says, ‘We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.’ Satan is the god of this world. The whole world is under the control of the prince of darkness. As a result, we need Light, otherwise we’ll stumble and fall like the rest of the world.
Ephesians 5:14 says, ‘Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.’ The Lord Jesus Christ is the Light of the world, and He gives us Light through His Word. Light is Revelation Knowledge that can only come through His Word. The world has no solutions to poverty and lack. The nations of the world are defaulting on their debt, many are slipping deeper and deeper into debt they can’t repay. They have no answer to rising inflation, high food prices, skyrocketing fuel prices and failing currencies.
All of that is just darkness. But isn’t it glorious that we have the Light of Life. Luke 6:38 says, ‘Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.’ When we walk in the Light of His Word, we prosper in life. Through the Light of His Word, we know how to make money, how to keep it and how to make it grow. When He shines His Light in the darkness, He can even unveil to us where the opportunities are. He has given us Light. If we walk in the Light as He is in the Light, we’ll never lack. He’ll supply all our needs according to His Riches in Glory. He’ll ensure that we reap a hundredfold in this life and receive Eternal Life in the next. Glory to God!
CONFESSION
I walk in the Light as the Lord Jesus Christ is in the Light that’s why I can never be disadvantaged in life. The entrance of His Word gives me Light as a result, I’m never in darkness about anything. Glory to God!
