LEBANON PROTESTS AS ECONOMIC CRISIS WORSENED BY COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Glory to God. I trust you’re well and enjoying your Inheritance in Christ Jesus.

I gave this Prophetic Word on 25 February 2020:

BEGINNING

Of late, the Spirit of God has been impressing upon me that we’ll begin to see national, regional and international currency failures. There’ll be local, regional and international economic collapses that will follow in this season. Some will be as a direct result of the international collapse but some will be because of gross mismanagement and other local factors.

Please note that when God gave us this Word, COVID-19 was still a Chinese problem. The virus hadn’t left Wuhan, the international media were barely reporting on this virus at the time. The global economy was still intact. There were no quarantines yet. There were no nationwide lockdowns yet. There was no hint of a global financial collapse anywhere. In fact, most market experts were bullish and saw no immediate end to the rise of the various stock markets.

Notice also that the Word says, ‘Some will will be a direct result of the INTERNATIONAL COLLAPSE…’ God has always been speaking about an international collapse. What we’re seeing currently is no surprise.

Lebanon has just fulfilled part of this Word. The Lebanese government is in hot water. Their economy has just collapsed because of rising inflation. COVID-19 has obviously worsened the nation’s economic woes and accelerated its demise.

This has sparked nationwide protests. There are reports of violent clashes between angry protesters and the police. Protesters are destroying property and there’s evidence of police brutality.

This also confirms part of the Prophetic Word God gave us on 20 January for 2020 as the Year of Destruction and the Word:

BEGINNING

Violent protest action will escalate this year. We’ll see political uprisings increase in many different spheres of society. Protesters will be brazen and more emboldened this year. They will demolish property and bring physical harm to others in an attempt to further their cause. As it escalates, so will police brutality. Many protesters will be injured and some will be detained and some will be killed. This will also be part of the Destruction that we will see this year as we see a break down in Law and Order in many parts of the globe.

There will be a specific focus of this occurrence in the Middle East and Arab nations in particular.

Notice how the Prophecy references the Middle East and Arab nations. Lebanon is in the Middle East.

Please note that this is about to become the norm globally. There’s still a greater collapse coming. What we’re seeing now is just a lead up to something far greater. The underlying economic fault lines in most nations will be exposed and the whole thing will begin to crash like a house of cards.
