TRANSFORM INTO CHRIST

And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God – Romans 12:2

The reason many Christians are still conformed to this world is because their minds are not renewed, as a result there’s no transformation in their lives. They’re still the same old them. But what exactly are we meant to be transformed into?

Luke 6:40 says, ‘The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.’ Through the process of discipleship, we’re meant to transform from being like satan to being like the Lord Jesus Christ, our Master. It’s only through the Doctrine of Christ that we can become Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It’s only the Doctrine of Christ that can renew our minds and cause us to no longer be conformed to this world but to be transformed into Him. It’s only by obeying whatsoever He commanded that we can be truly changed into His Image from glory to glory.

PRAYER

Father in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that you help me to no longer be conformed to this world. Help me to be transformed into the Lord Jesus Christ by the renewing of my mind through the Doctrine of Christ. Amen.
