Glory to God!

Today I want to shed some Light on the recent and ongoing violence in South Africa. Without the necessary spiritual context it’s very easy to misdiagnose what’s happening and as result miss God in the whole thing.

In fact, many are asking where is God. Others want to get Him involved by calling Days of Prayer and the like. But I want to assure you that God is right in the middle of these upheavals and tumults we’re seeing in the country.

Firstly, God is a God of Destiny. Each nation on earth, like every person on earth, has a very specific God-given Destiny to fulfil. South Africa is no different.

Just like Ethiopia is the Spiritual Capital of the continent since it was the first African nation to receive the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ through the Ethiopian eunuch according to Acts 8:29-39 – South Africa is the North Star of the continent, in other words, South Africa is the leader of the African continent.

Until we understand this, we won’t make much sense of what’s befallen this beautiful land. Currently, South Africa is in the process of missing her God-given Destiny and God is correcting this. How do I mean?

Acts 17:26 says, ‘And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.’ This is a loaded verse and when understood correctly, what we’re seeing not only in South Africa but around the World will make perfect sense.

Even though all people are descended from Adam in the Garden, God has however determined that we would increase and multiply, and fill the earth according to Genesis 1:28.

Having said that, God has further determined which specific people group should occupy which specific geography. Just as God determined that the Land of Israel belongs to the Hebrew people, God has allocated certain geographies to certain people. This is so because it serves God’s Own Purposes on the earth as He has determined them.

Being born to a specific people group in a specific geography is not a matter of random chance. We each have where we belong and our movement is regulated by God to fulfil His Own Purpose for our lives and the specific Destinies of different geographies.

What does that have to do with the attacks on foreign nationals in South Africa? Just like Donald Trump wants to regulate the influx of migrants into America, just like Britain wants to leave the EU, just like Europe is closing its borders in the face of migrants, and many other nations in the World are rejecting internationalism and globalisation in favour of nationalism, South Africa is also going through the same process.

The rejection of internationalism and globalisation by the World is fuelled by God since it’s not His Plan for the different countries and nations of the World. God has determined who should be where in the World. We can’t just pick and choose randomly.

Since each nation has a specific God-given Destiny to fulfil, if it’s overrun by foreigners, it will lose its identity and therefore its Purpose. Each people group has a specific character that is unique to them which helps them fulfil their God-given Destiny. When they export that identity, character and Destiny to another nation, they will alter the identity, character and Destiny of that nation.

Egypt panicked when the nation of Israel started to fulfil their God-given Destiny in Egypt by increasing and multiplying and basically overwhelming the Egyptians. When that happened, the Egyptians enslaved the Israelites. Instead of God helping Israel to overcome the Egyptians, He took them out the land that was not theirs and gave them their own Land where they could fulfil their God-given Destiny.

It was not God’s Will for the Israelites to increase and multiply in Egypt, and eventually control it. Egypt belongs to the Egyptians, and Israel belongs to the Israelites. God will never change this.

The number of foreign nationals in South Africa had started to overwhelm the locals. The identity, character, and Destiny of these nationalities were beginning to change the Purpose of South Africa as the continent’s North Star. Since these individuals were and many more are out of place, they’ve had to resort to crime to survive in South Africa since their Blessing is in their countries of origin and not South Africa.

The reason many foreign nationals struggle in South Africa is because their Inheritance is in their countries of origin. They have to resort to dealing drugs, prostitution, cash-in-transit heists, robberies, house-breaking, and the like, because most of them, not all, are not where they should be.

It must also be said that not all foreign nationals are involved in crime. The fact remains, however, that many of them are not where they should be.

God is not a liberal or a Pan-Africanist. The fact that African nations housed South Africans during the days of Apartheid is not important in His Plan for this nation. It must also be said that the South Africans they housed were not fleeing the tyranny of their fellow-Africans.

God gave me this Word at the beginning of the year as a theme for this Season we’re in: Hebrews 12:26-27 says, ‘Whose voice then shook the earth: now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.’

God is shaking the nations of the World, including South Africa. What can be shaken is being shaken in South Africa, and what cannot be shaken will remain. During this shaking, the people who do not belong in this country will leave, and those who belong here will remain. The correct number of foreign nationals who are here to aid this country as part of their God-given Destiny will remain, the others will leave.

We can try to pray about this, as many have suggested, but it will not help. We’re in a Season of shaking and there’s nothing we can do about it. In fact, God is not doing this because He is evil but rather in answer to the Prayers of the Church. We prayed, and now He is responding.

It’s not God killing these foreign nationals, but rather, He has lifted His Hand of protection from them because of their fundamental violation of destabilising a country that is not their own.

If you understand this, you will then understand why Nigeria and Zimbabwe are repatriating their people from South Africa. We’ve never seen this before. That’s because it’s time for these Africans to go back to their nations and fulfil their God-given Destinies there. It’s God causing these governments to respond this way.

If you understand this, you’ll also understand that more violence is about to follow. Those who will be stubborn during this season will fall victim to this violence.

I gave this Word at the beginning of the year:

“Rogue Ministers who have been functioning outside their jurisdiction will be dealt with. Ministers and Ministries that should not be in South Africa will be sent back to their homelands rejected and disgraced because they’re out of the Will of God for their lives.”

In the midst of all this, there are Ministers of the Gospel who should not be in South Africa. They are being sent back to their jurisdictions with their people. They are out of the Will of God for their lives and they’re aiding others to also be out of God’s Will for their lives. God will never permit this. He’s now acting.
