THE LAW OF CHRIST
Just as the Lord Jesus Christ is greater than Moses, the Law of Christ is greater than the Law of Moses.
Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ – Galatians 6:2
Just as there’s the Law of Moses, there’s also the Law of Christ. Just as the Law of Moses has Commandments, the Law of Christ also has Commandments. Instructions such as love one another, take up your cross, seek first the Kingdom and many others, are Commandments of Christ. They’re the Law of Christ.
Just as the Lord Jesus Christ is greater than Moses, the Law of Christ is greater than the Law of Moses. The Commandments given to the Lord Jesus Christ are greater than the Commandments given to Moses.
That’s why the Lord Jesus Christ said things such as, You have heard it was said it like that, but I say this. The Law of Christ is the Law of the New Testament. The Law of Christ is the Law that God has written in our hearts. Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ are to obey everything that He commanded. We are to obey the Commandments of the Law of Christ by the Spirit.
CONFESSION
I’m a Disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ. I obey everything that He commanded. The Law of Christ is written in my heart and I obey it by the Power of the Spirit. Glory to God!
