THE KINGDOM, NOT THE RAPTURE
When the Lord Jesus Christ returns, He’ll not only raise us from the dead, but He’ll also destroy the antichrist.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming – 2 Thessalonians 2:8
Many are waiting for the Lord Jesus Christ to return and rapture us to heaven so we can escape. But that’s not what the Bible teaches. When the Lord Jesus Christ returns, He’ll not only raise us from the dead, but He’ll also destroy the antichrist.
The Purpose of the Lord’s Return is not to rapture the Church but to set up His Kingdom on earth. It’s not to take the Church away and leave the antichrist to run the show on earth but to destroy him and his kingdom so as to make way for the Kingdom of God.
But when the Lord appears, He won’t take us out of here but He’ll raise us from the dead and destroy the antichrist. His Feet will touch the Mount of Olives and He’ll set up His Kingdom on earth and we shall reign with Him in it forever and ever. Glory to God!
