THE DAYS OF WHITEFIELD

Glory to God!

Today I just want to focus on the Body of Christ and some of the Things the Spirit of God has been sharing with me. Last year on 13 December 2019, while praying for the United States of America, I heard the following:

BEGINNING

The days of Whitefield.

END

That’s all I heard, and immediately I knew what God was referring to. George Whitefield, pronounced Whitfield, was a very influential member of the Great Awakening that shook Britain and its 13 Colonies between the 1730s and 1740s. The attached image is a painting of him preaching.

These 13 Colonies are what eventually became the United States of America. In other words, the Great Awakening shook Britain and the United States of America. Other than George Whitefield, there were other prominent Ministers such as John Wesley and Jonathan Edwards who shaped this Awakening.

God is sending an Awakening to America. He is going to raise Ministers who will walk in the same Mantle as that of George Whitfield and the others.

I believe this Awakening will not be a one-man show but a joint effort between those God will raise at that time. I believe the Days of Whitefield is a descriptor that includes more than just one Minister.

More than that, George Whitefield was not an American, he was British. I believe the coming Awakening that will affect the United States of America is likely to begin in the United Kingdom and then spill over into the US.

More than that, I believe that this is going to be the last great Move of God on planet earth that will bring about the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I say this because, when I received this Word, and the one I shared this morning about God fusing Ministries that move in the Word and those in the Spirit, I didn’t realise both Words’ significance until I went back in history to check who else prophesied about this since the Word makes reference to George Whitefield.

Then I discovered that Smith Wigglesworth, a powerful British Evangelist, who died in the 1940s, gave a Prophetic Word along these line in 1947, the year he died. He made reference to both the fusing of the Word and the Spirit, and the Great Awakening to come.

This is the Prophetic Word he gave:

BEGINNING

TWO DISTINCT MOVES

During the next few decades, there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the church in Great Britain. The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it and will be characterized by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit. The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches. In the duration of each of these moves, the people who are involved will say ‘This is the great revival’. But the Lord says ‘No, neither is this the great revival but both are steps towards it.

When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidenced in the churches something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the Word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit.

When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and the Welsh revivals of former years. The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow over from the UK to the mainland of Europe, and from there will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.

Notice how the last great Move of the Spirit will flow from the UK to the mainland of Europe, and then to the ends of the earth.

That’s why I believe that the Days of Whitefield refers to this last Great Awakening that Smith Wigglesworth saw. George Whitefield was British and the Great Awakening touched Europe and the 13 Colonies and seeded what eventually became the Pentecostal Movement that invaded the entire planet.

Moreover, Mr. Wigglesworth also saw the fusing of two streams of the both the Word and the Spirit as what will be responsible for this last Great Awakening.

This is absolutely astounding.

For this to happen, I had prophesied about a Civil War coming to America, and also America electing a Communist to power. I wanted to know what will come of America.

I also went back to check who else had prophesied about such, and I discovered that the late Kenneth Hagin, the Father of the Word of Faith Movement prophesied about both war coming to America and the rise of Communism.

Interestingly, in another Prophecy, Kenneth Hagin also prophesied about the Coming Great Awakening that will affect the United States and the rest of the World as God’s Last Great Move of the Spirit.

But I’ll share more about what Kenneth Hagin said about these things which he shared in 2 different Prophecies next week or so.

The Lord Jesus Christ is coming back. The end is literally just around the corner.
