THE DAY OF THE LORD
Even though the Scriptures are clear that there’s only one Day of the Lord, the Church believes in two days: the rapture and the Second Coming. This is not true because the same Day the Lord comes back is the same Day He raises us to meet Him in the air.
It will be just like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed – Luke 17:30

Zechariah 14:1,4 says, ‘Behold, THE DAY OF LORD cometh…and HIS FEET SHALL STAND IN THAT DAY UPON THE MOUNT OF OLIVES.’ When the Lord Jesus Christ returns, He’s not going back up with us. He’ll continue to come down until His Feet touch the Mount of Olives.
We have to meet Him in the air because it’s the same Day He destroys the wicked with the Brightness of His Coming. He has to separate us from the wicked so that we’re not destroyed with them. The Lord Jesus and the Apostles never taught two separate days because there’s only one Day of the Lord and it’s coming soon.
CONFESSION
The Day of the Lord is coming. It’ll be a great Day for the Church for we’ll be raised to be with Him forever. It’ll be a terrible Day for the world because they’ll be destroyed by the Brightness of His Coming. Glory to God!
