THE COMING STORM. THE COMING COLLAPSE 5

Glory to God! I trust you’re well and enjoying your Inheritance in Christ Jesus.

As promised, this week we’re going to continue with our series on the Coming Storm and the Coming Collapse.

This series is based on two Prophetic Words we received, one last year, and another recently this year.

PROPHETIC WORD 1: THERE’S A COLLAPSE COMING
PROPHETIC WORD 2: THERE’S A STORM COMING

When I gave the Word about the Coming Collapse, it looked very unlikely that it would manifest. That was about 14 months ago. Part of its manifestation is what we’re seeing currently and it happened so fast, everyone’s still reeling from the speed with which it occurred and still occurring.

Now, the Spirit of God says a storm is coming. As already indicated, these 2 Words are linked. The Coming Storm is the full manifestation of the Coming Collapse. Things are only beginning to collapse. This is not it. More is yet to come, and that’s the Coming Storm.

That’s why I’m doing this. I’m warning everyone and helping them prepare for what’s coming. If we ignore this warning, we’ll be caught in the Coming Storm unprepared, and we’ll have to suffer our way through it.

Last week we spoke about how to handle our finances during this time. And I promised that this week we’ll deal with the different types of storms for us to understand what we’re dealing with.

Matthew 8:23-27 says, ‘Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

The first storm type I want to to talk about is the kind we can stop. This is when Satan brings tests and trials into our lives to cause some kind of distress or inconvenience.

With this type of storm, what we’re going through is not due to any fault of our own. Our only fault in this instance is our Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It could be an attack on your finances, health, relationships or Ministry.

This kind occurs not because we’re doing something wrong but precisely because we’re doing something right.

Our response to this kind of storm is to engage in spiritual warfare. Like the Lord Jesus Christ rebuked the storm, we can also use His Name to rebuke satan and command him to halt his attack on our lives.

Matthew 28:18 says, ‘And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power (authority) is given unto me in heaven and earth.’

When the Lord Jesus Christ died on the Cross, He conquered principalities and powers. He now has all Authority in Heaven and earth.

In fact, Philippians 2:9-10 says, ‘Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, things on earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory to God the Father.’

Jesus Christ is now Lord of Heaven, earth, and hell. His Name has Authority in all 3 dimensions because of His Victory on the Cross. At the mention of His Name, every demon must obey us and get out.

Colossians 2:15 says, ‘And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it (the Cross).’

On the Cross, the Lord Jesus Christ stripped principalities and powers of their authority over our lives. His Blood paid the price for our sins. Our guilt before God is what gave them authority over us. By cancelling our sin-debt, He stripped them of their power over us. They now have zero authority over our lives.

Hebrews 2:14 says, ‘Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the devil.’

The Lord Jesus Christ destroyed satan and his demons on the Cross. They’re now completely paralyzed against us.

Luke 10:19 says, ‘Behold, I give unto you power (authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.’

The Lord Jesus Christ has now given us His Authority to trample over satan and his demons, and over all their abilities. Then He concludes by saying, ‘Nothing shall by any means hurt you.’ And by nothing He means exactly that, nothing. Glory to God!

Mark 16:17 says, ‘And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…’ The Name of the Lord Jesus Christ has been given to us to engage in warfare against the enemy and stop his evil attacks on our lives.

Therefore, when you’re caught in this kind of storm, just use the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and it will stop. The winds and the waves will cease.

This Coming Storm has an element that we can stop. Not every part of it can be stopped but there are parts of it we’ll have control over. The devil will try to take advantage of the situation and sieze the moment. We should then just use our Authority in the Name of the Lord Jesus and put him in his place.

We can speak to this part of the storm and say, ‘Peace, be still,’ and it will obey.
