THE COMING PERSECUTION
Just as the Lord Jesus Christ was persecuted, Christians will also be persecuted.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also – John 15:20
Just as the Lord Jesus Christ was persecuted, Christians will also be persecuted. The Lord Jesus Christ was persecuted by His fellow Jews, the Pharisees, who colluded with the state, the Roman Empire, to put Him to Death.
In these last days we’ll see pharisaical, hypocritical fellow Christians, collude with governments to persecute real Christians. Many Christians globally have already embraced the liberal agenda of abortion, gay rights and other humanist philosophies.
Those who’ve taken the broad way will persecute those who preach taking the narrow way. Brother will betray brother unto death. They’ll bring you before magistrates and the authorities. The Lord says the hour is coming when everyone who kills you will think they’re rendering God a service. Are you ready for persecution?
PRAYER
Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, prepare me for the coming persecution. Help me not to faint but to endure until the very end that I might be saved. Amen.
