THE CHURCH WILL GO THROUGH THE GREAT TRIBULATION

Immediately after the tribulation of those days…then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory – Matthew 24:29-30

The Lord Jesus Christ will only come after the Great Tribulation. In other words, the Church of Jesus Christ will still be on planet earth when the Great Tribulation happens. The Great Tribulation will begin, continue and end while the Church is on earth.

There’s no great escape planned for the Church. Matthew 24:21a-22b says, ‘For then shall be great tribulation…but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.’ The Elect are the Church. The Great Tribulation will be shortened for the Church’s sake. Which means, the Church will go through the Tribulation.

It’s time to grow up and shake off the childish false doctrine of the rapture. Matthew 24:13 says, ‘But he that shall endure until the end, the same shall be saved.’ It’s time to toughen up and accept that we must through much tribulation enter into the Kingdom of God – Acts 14:22. We must endure until the end for us to be saved.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? In all these things, we’re more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Glory to God!
