REPENTANCE BEGINS AT THE PULPIT

Our Message is not balanced because we preach Faith and Grace without Repentance

Testifying both to the Jews, and also the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ – Acts 20:21

I had a Vision recently where I saw the Lord Jesus Christ burn a whole lot of books in a raging fire. By the Spirit I could discern that these were Christian books written by Ministers of the Gospel and read by others around the World.

There’s something horribly wrong with the Message the Church is preaching. Our Message is not balanced because we preach Faith and Grace without Repentance. As a result, God’s People are always shouting ‘I receive’ and never ‘I repent’.

They’re always confessing their rights in Christ and never their sins to Him for Him to forgive them. We’re out of balance and it’s the Preachers’ fault. God’s People can only go where we lead them. For there to be repentance at the pews, it must first start at the pulpit. But instead of condemning Ministers, let’s pray for them because God loves them.

PRAYER

Father in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray for all the Ministers of the Gospel around the World not to compromise your Truth. I pray that they be delivered from the fear of man and selfish ambition. May they stop preaching what our itching ears want to hear. Amen.
