REFUSE TO BOW
When they persecute us, even if God doesn’t deliver us, we should refuse to bow.
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up – Daniel 3:17-18
Nebuchadnezzar demanded that Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego worship a golden image and they refused. The king of Babylon then threatened them with death in a fiery furnace.
We’ll be facing the same type of persecution in these last days. We’ll be required to bow before the antichrist and his system. But like the three Hebrew boys, we should be faithful to the point of death and refuse to bow.
Even if God didn’t rescue them, they were willing to obey Him. That’s because they didn’t fear death. They knew God would raise them up when the Lord returns. When they persecute us, even if God doesn’t deliver us, we should refuse to bow. Glory to God!
CONFESSION
I refuse to bow before the spirit of antichrist and his system. Even if they threaten me with death I will not bow. Whether God delivers me or not, I still will not bow. Glory to God!
