PROPHETIC WORD ABOUT THE LAND AND PEOPLE OF ISRAEL

Glory to God! I trust you’re well and denying yourself, taking up your cross daily and following the example of the Lord Jesus Christ so you can rule and reign with Him in this world and the world to come.

On 30 August, while praying for Israel, I heard the following:

BEGINNING

Riotous living.

END

Many evangelical Christians have a distorted view of the Jewish people. Observant Jews are not saved. Secular Jews are not saved.

Yes, they are the natural seed of Abraham, however, they not all saved because many of them continue to reject the Lord Jesus Christ as their Messiah.

Romans 9:7-9 says, ‘Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.’

Just because they’re Abraham’s natural seed it doesn’t mean they’re his children. It’s not the children of the flesh who are accounted for the seed, but it’s the children of promise, like Isaac who are regarded as Abraham’s seed.

I’m not anti-semitic. I love the Jewish people. I pray for them all the time. However, like other people groups, they need salvation.

Acts 4:12 says, ‘Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.’

Salvation is only found in the Lord Jesus Christ. He’s the way, the truth, and the life. No man, absolutely no man, Jew or Gentile, can come to the Father except by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Even the land of Israel and the city of Jerusalem have to be looked at through the lens of the Doctrine of Christ.

Galatians 4:24-26 says, ‘Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covIenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.’

The current city of Jerusalem is in bondage with her children. However, the Jerusalem which is above where we’re from, is free.

This is the Doctrine of the Apostles, this is the Doctrine of Christ.

That’s why the Jewish people are ensnared by the same vices as the people of this world, and the only way out is through the Lord Jesus Christ.

As long as Christian look up to the Jewish people, as long as they think we have so much to learn from their scholars, we’ll never minister to them and lead them to the Lord. We’ll forever think that rabbinic Judaism in superior to Christianity.

The Jewish people who have not accepted the Lord Jesus Christ are in bondage. Inasmuch as we refer to the Arabs as Ishmael, the Doctrine of Christ refers to the current Jewish people who have rejected the Lord as Ishmael.

Galatians 4:28-31 says, ‘Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.’

Those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the Jerusalem which is above. Like Isaac, we’re born of the free woman.

However, the Jews are born of the natural city of Jerusalem. They’re like Ishmael, they’re born of the bondwoman.

Arabs are the seed of Ishmael, however, by rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ, the Jews have joined them and become of the same seed.

Having said that, Ishmael remains the natural seed of Abraham. The Jews therefore remain the natural seed of Abraham, and they still enjoy special privileges before God because of the covenant God made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

God has not forgotten about them. However, they must believe for them to be saved. Like Paul who was a staunch Pharisee but had to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Jewish people have to also believe.

At the moment, they’re trapped in riotous living.

According to the King James dictionary, riotous means:

‘Luxurious; wanton or licentious in festive indulgences; as riotous eaters of flesh. Prov. 23.

2. Consisting of riot; tumultuous; partaking of the nature of an unlawful assembly; seditious.

3. Guilty of riot; applied to persons.’

Israel is considered a high income country. It’s ranked 19th out of 189 countries on the UN Human Development Index, which indicates very high development.

It therefore follows that Israel would be involved in luxurious living. But also extensive feasting, drinking, and revelry. This speaks to clubbing, parties and other forms of demonic merriment.

The old part of Jerusalem is still observant. However, the other parts are very secular. Tel Aviv is also very secular.

Many Christians think all Jewish people love the Torah and go to synagogue. They think they walk about in sandles and robes all day reading the ten commandments. That’s not true. Israel is a secular state. They’ve legalised abortion and homosexuality. For many this is unthinkable because it goes against the scriptures and their view of who and what a Jew should be.

The King James dictionary speaks of ‘eaters of human flesh’ and this is consistent because of the abortion rate in this nation.

The church needs to pray for the nation of Israel. More than that, the church needs to evangelise the nation of Israel, aggressively. They need to be saved.

We must stop idolising the Jewish people. Many of them are not friends of the church. There are those who are violently opposed to the preaching of the gospel inside their borders. They persecute Christians and forbid some of their gatherings.

It’s time to see clearly.
