PROPHECY: THE FUTURE OF THE BRITISH POUND

Published

Glory to God! I trust you’re well and denying yourself, taking up your cross daily and following the example of the Lord Jesus Christ so you can rule and reign with Him in this world and the world to come.

On 20 September 2023, I heard the following:

BEGINNING

The British pound to fall.

END

The pound is currently trading at 1.21 to the US dollar, 1.16 to the Euro and 23.30 to the South African rand.

That’s strong. Very strong. For now.

The Lord says the pound will fall.

We should therefore expect the pound to lose its value.

In fact, it’s not the first time the Lord makes mention of this.

On 29 June 2020, I shared the following as part of a much longer prophecy:

BEGINNING

Food security will be threatened within the United Kingdom. I will shake their economy to bring them to a place of dependency. The roar of the British lion will be turned into a mere whisper. I will devalue the pound to levels they’ve never seen before. I want My nation back. Great Britain will become Britain. I will humble them in this season.

END

The Lord also spoke about how European economies will fall at this hour.

On 10 July 2023, I shared the following:

BEGINNING

I am sending Western Europe on a tailspin. Her economies will go on a downward spiral. They will be crippled by what’s coming. They will not survive what is about to befall them.

END

We’ve said it before and we’ll keep saying it, THERE’S A COLLAPSE COMING. THERE’S A STORM COMING.

That’s why we’re focusing on the message of faith.

Make sure you spend time meditating on what we keep sharing on this page. Read the devotional, it’s jam packed with faith-building articles.

We’re not trying to excite you but to build your faith so that when what’s coming finally arrives, like Abraham, you’ll be strong in faith, giving glory to God through it all knowing that He who is coming will not delay.

We’re nearing the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, therefore, things will get out of control. He will come like a thief in the night. Which means, He’ll come when this world is very dark.

Like in the parable of the ten virgins, there will ring out a midnight cry to announce the arrival of the bridegroom.

Midnight is the darkest hour.

Therefore, before the Lord returns, things must of necessity get completely out of hand. There will be chaos in this world.

The Lord calls these occurrences ‘birth pains.’ When a woman is in labour, she experiences contractions. The closer she gets to her time of delivery, the frequent the birth pains and the more intense the pain.

This is how things are going to be.

That’s why the Lord asks in the parable of the unmerciful judge, ‘When He comes, will the Son of Man find faith on the earth?’

Those who are not building their faith at this time will be at a gross disadvantage when time arrives.

We’ve prophesied nuclear war, famine, more virulent diseases, and more natural disasters. We’ve also prophesied aliens, the sun darkening, an asteroid hitting the earth, and many other events. For Christians, add to that extreme persecution.

Luke 21:26 says, ‘Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.’

People’s hearts will fail them because of fear. Many will commit suicide. Many will lose their sanity. All because of fear. Faith is the opposite of fear. God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.

It’s our faith in God’s Word that will see us through what’s coming.

You therefore need to build your faith for the last days. If not, what’s coming will definitely scare you because you won’t be prepared for it. You’ll join many who will fall away from the faith because of the deceitfulness of wealth, the cares of this world, and persecution because of the Word.

Luke 21:28 says, ‘And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.’

For those of us who have faith in the Word of God, when we see such events, we’ll know it’s time to look up and rejoice. Instead of bowing our heads in defeat, we’ll lift our heads in victory knowing that our redemption draws near.

Glory to God!
