ANOTHER SUPERSTAR FALLS

Glory to God! I trust you’re well and denying yourself, taking up your Cross daily and following the Example of the Lord Jesus Christ so you can rule and reign with Him in this world and the World to Come.

On 20 May 2021, I shared the following:

Watch the superstars begin to fall, both inside and outside the Church. Watch the pillars begin to crack and the superstructures collapse.

Since sharing this Word, great men and women, both inside and outside the Church, have passed on. They were pillars of their respective fields, superstars. I haven’t always reported on each and every death.

Of late, we have seen many well-known individuals who have played a pivotal role in their respective realms pass on, such as:

Sidney Poitier

Betty White

DMX

Jerry Lee Lewis

Christine McVie

The queen of England.

And now, Brazilian three time World Cup winner, Pele (Edson Arantes do Nascimento), has passed on at age 82. He died after battling kidney problems and colon cancer.

Named athlete of the century by the International Olympic Committee in 1999, Pele is the only footballer in history to win three World Cups – 1958, 1962 and 1970 – News24.

My condolences to the do Nascimento family. May his soul rest in peace.

Why’s this happening? The old is making way for the new. The world they lived in is passing away with them. They were born into, grew up in and dominated a different world. We’re in a new phase of human history now. A darker, less innocent time. As long as they’re in the world, a new world will not fully dawn. As long as they’re alive, new stars will not shine as bright.

All of this is leading to the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as the above-mentioned generation is passing on to make way for the new, the generation of the flesh since Adam will pass on and make way for the new Generation of the Spirit, the New Creation, with a New Spirit, living in a New Body, in the New Heaven and the New Earth, inhabiting the New Jerusalem, the City of the Living God.

Revelation 21:5 says, ‘Behold, I making all things new…’

These deaths of these stars are a Sign and a Wonder. But they’re also a poignant reminder that nothing’s permanent, everything’s temporal, except the Eternal One Himself.

Psalm 144:4 says, ‘Man is like a breath; his days are like a passing shadow.’

James 4:14 says, ‘For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.’

We will all also pass away and make way for others. However, something awaits us on the other side.

Hebrews 9:27 says, ‘And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.’

This post is not about how accurate some Prophet can be, it’s a Warning. If the Lord could be right about this season, He must be right about His Return and the circumstances that will surround it. He must be right in the Doctrine of Christ that there is such a thing as the Lake of Fire where there’ll be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Oh, the horror that awaits the disobedient!

1 Peter 1:17 says, ‘And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear.’

Since we know that the Lord is near and His Judgment will come with Him, let’s pass our time on earth with the Fear of the Lord. We must live holy and godly lives in anticipation of the Return of the One Who is no respecter of persons and who judges without partiality.

Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near. For some reading this, this is the last Warning you’ll ever hear, for we know the festive season has a way of ending in tears.

I would like to thank God for the Mercy of His Foreknowledge. I give Him all the Praise and all the Honour. No Prophecy ever originated from anyone but God Himself. God never lies. Glory to God!
