On 6 June 2021, I shared the following Prophetic Word:

BEGINNING

I saw an Angel of God suspended in midair, hovering over the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) campus in Auckland Park, Johannesburg, South Africa. He was dressed in a beautiful white linen garment.

He loomed large over the sprawling SABC campus. He looked like a full grown man standing above a doll house. He was large.

Later on I was reminded of what the Lord had been ministering to me about influential people in general but South African celebrities in particular, dying in this season.

We are going to see something happen within the South African media landscape. We should expect to see actors, actresses, producers, directors, DJs, musicians, models, influencers, media personalities and many people involved in the broadcasting and media industry start to fall.

By fall I mean die. We are going to see many deaths in the television, radio and other related media industries. We’re going to see stars and superstars fall in this season.

I believe this spreads beyond the SABC as an entity and it relates to the media and broadcasting industry in general. The SABC was the first media and broadcasting corporation in this country. It’s therefore seminal and it gave birth to many others that

emerged over the decades.

Multi-award winning musician Bulelwa Mkutukana, better known as Zahara has passed away. She had been battling liver disease for some time. She was 36.

We never celebrate loss of life because we know that God did not create humanity for death. However, we need to recognise the season we’re in.

The Lord Jesus Christ is near and He’s shaking the nations of this world to wake them up to His reality for them to repent and be saved.

God’s judgment of the South African media landscape is apparent. Since sharing this word, we’ve seen South African celebrity after South Africa celebrity pass on.

This is a strong message not only to these luminaries themselves, but their fans as well.

It’s time to fear God and give Him glory for the hour of His judgment has come.

On 20 December 2022, I heard the following:

BEGINNING

Steph Curry to pass on.

I am judging the gods of sports at this hour. You will begin to see renowned sports figures pass on the world over. It will be a sign and and a wonder. The idolatry lodged in the human heart through human worship will be judged at this hour.

I will visit the iniquity of Hollywood and its palace of sin. I will tear down its pillars and bring down its altars. The deaths of many the world hold in high regard will shock the world.

The flower of their youth will be cut off. The stars that once shone so brightly will fall from the sky and come tumbling down. Many will be cut off in their youth.

Many will be exposed and disgraced. And many will be cut off from the land of the living.

I am visiting the entertainment industry the world over, the gods so many have worshipped will bow before Me and face My Judgment.

We don’t celebrate the loss of human life. Every soul is precious is the eyes of God.

Having said that, we’re in a season of judgment. The Lord is judging various sectors of society and one of them is the sports and entertainment industry.

Three time WWE champion Bray Wyatt has just passed on at the age of 36. That’s young.

This is happening as the Lord has said it would. He’s judging idolatry in sports and entertainment. Adoring fans are essentially devoted worshippers in cults of personality. This is idolatry.

Whenever a major sporting event takes place, or a major motion picture comes out, the Lord Jesus Christ has to share His glory with man, and that He will never permit.

He’s not only doing this because He’s a jealous God, but also because every time man bows before what is not God, man become demonised.

Many well-meaning patrons of the arts, moviegoers and sports fans have become unwitting victims of the demonic.

Gone are the days when performers and athletes used to give glory to God. Today, many of them are involved in the occult, and often transmit their demons to their fans through their performances.

Since many of these superstars are under the oppression of demonic spirits, their fans automatically become demonised by the same devils by worshiping their idols. They’re essentially worshiping demons knowingly or unknowingly.

By removing some of these personalities, the Lord is setting their fans free from satanic oppression.

Micah 5:13 says, ‘I will destroy your idols and your sacred stones from among you; you will no longer bow down to the work of your hands.‘

Sports and entertainment stars have become gods in the eyes of men. They’re idols that many worship. They’re the work of men’s hands because of the media and public relations firms who rake it millions by making such men and women into gods. The Lord is removing them so that men will no longer bow down before them.

Of late, we’ve been seeing athletes at the prime of their lives experience health challenges, in particular, heart attacks. Not only athletes, but other celebrities as well. Jamie Foxx was recently hospitalised for ‘health complications’ and has since been discharged.

We need to watch this Prophetic Word. We need to pray for celebrities to turn from their wicked ways and begin to fear God and obey Him.

I believe that all these health scares are warning shots from the Lord. He’s warning celebrities the world over to begin to repent of their sin, otherwise His Judgment will fall upon them.

There are those who believe that the reason for all these health complications is what people have allowed into their bodies in last two years or so.

I agree with them, however, we need to know that the Lord will be putting the spotlight on those in the limelight at this hour.

Having said that, may the Hand of God rest upon LeBron James Jr at this hour. I pray that God may stretch forth His Hand from Heaven and heal him in the Name of His Holy Child, the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
