PRISON POPULATION IN AMERICA WILL SHRINK

Glory to God! I trust you’re well and enjoying your Inheritance in Christ Jesus.

I heard this on 19 June 2020:

I’m shrinking the prison population in America. Over time, some prisons will be emptied altogether.

END

This is glorious news since America has about 2.3 million people incarcerated currently. That’s a staggering number, and it keeps climbing as they keep building more and more prisons.

This is not sustainable. Their criminal justice system and in particular their law enforcement agencies are currently under the spotlight. Inasmuch as they can boast of their effectiveness, America has to face that they’re a sick society that produces criminals.

But the Spirit of God has a Plan. Not only will He shrink the prison population in America, but some prisons will be emptied and lie desolate. They’ll probably have to be repurposed for more productive uses.
