CHURCH
PREPARE FOR PERSECUTION! PREPARE FOR PERSECUTION!
Some will be thrown out of church and those who kill them will believe they’re serving God.
Glory to God! I trust you’re well and denying yourself, taking up your cross and following the Lord Jesus Christ.
Last year around September or so, I saw the following:
BEGINNING
I was walking around the yard when I was led to look up at the sky. I saw a cluster of clouds and out of those clouds a face started to form. I could not make out whether it was the Lord Jesus Christ, an angel or someone else.
The lips on the mouth of this face started to move and mouth something. I couldn’t hear what he was saying but I could tell that he was definitely shouting. When I read his lips, he clearly said: PREPARE FOR PERSECUTION! PREPARE FOR PERSECUTION!
END
There’s intense persecution coming. We’ve been warned about this before. We’ve also been warned about the coming falling away. We should therefore prepare for the coming persecution as instructed lest we fall away.
The fact that the face repeated the phrase twice means it’s definitely going to happen. The best way to prepare for persecution is to pray so that when God speaks, you’re available to hear Him.
This is not to scare you but to prepare you for what’s coming. To avoid falling away, the Doctrine of Christ must be planted and rooted in us. Mark 4:16-117 says, ‘And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended (fall away).’
Only the Doctrine of Christ will see us through this. Matthew 24:9-10 says, ‘Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended (fall away), and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.’
That’s the Doctrine of Christ. That’s what the Lord Jesus Christ taught and we’re living in the hour He prophesied about. Many false prophets have risen and they’re deceiving many that the church will not experience intense persecution, that the rapture will happen before that happens.
But it is about to happen and many will be shocked when it does. The false doctrines they’ve been exposed to will cause them to fall away because of fear.
John 16:2 says, ‘They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.’
Luke 12:11 says, ‘And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say.’
Some will be thrown out of church and those who kill them will believe they’re serving God. Some will betray us and take us before the courts of this world for us to be tried like criminals. All these things must come before the Lord returns.
The Lord Jesus Christ taught that all nations will hate us for His name’s sake and they’ll afflict us and kill us. That means it’s going to happen because it must happen, otherwise the Lord Jesus is a false prophet, which He’s not.
We’re about to see many hate one another and betray one another as they fall away. The very brothers and sisters who are enjoying false teachings today, will wake up tomorrow and realise they can’t withstand the intensity of the coming persecution. As they renounce the Lord Jesus Christ and deny Him, they turn state witness in exchange for their freedom. They’ll betray those who are stedfast in their faith. They’ll reveal their hide outs and lead the authorities straight to them.
They’ll do this because they’re refusing to take up their cross and lose their lives. Luke 9:23-26 says, ‘And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s and of the holy angels.’
The church needs to take heed of the Doctrine of Christ. What we’re hearing today in many places is so divorced from what the Lord Jesus Christ taught. But all of this is going to happen. If we preserve our own lives and refuse to lay them down for the cause of Christ, we’ll lose them in the lake of fire. But if we lose our lives for His sake in this world, we’ll keep them for eternal life. That’s what the Lord Jesus Christ taught and that’s what we need to base our lives on as His disciples.
Matthew 24:21-22 says, ‘For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.’ The elect will go through the great tribulation, contrary to what many are promising others in their rapture theories.
PREPARE FOR PERSECUTION! PREPARE FOR PERSECUTION!
The good news is that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back soon to set up His kingdom on this earth. He’s very close and we will see Him face to face. Glory to God! Glory to God! I can’t wait.
Refuse to seek comfort in false prophets and false teachers and their false doctrines. Those are doctrines of demons and doctrines men. Heed the Doctrine of Christ. He who endures until the end, the same shall be saved.
Let me close with this: Matthew 7:24-27 says, ‘Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.’
The rain is about to descend. The flood is about to come. The winds are about to blow and beat upon your house. Make sure you’ve built your house on the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Doctrine of Christ. Make sure you not only hear what He says, make sure you do what He says as well.
The kingdom of heaven is near. Remember, deny yourself, take up your cross daily and follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
Glory to God!
