ONE TO WATCH: PIROLA
Glory to God! I trust you’re well and denying yourself, taking up your cross daily and following the example of the Lord Jesus Christ so you can rule and reign with Him in this world and the world to come.
On 20 September 2022, I shared the following:
BEGINNING
I saw different people around the world wearing face masks as if we were back to the days of COVID-19. I shared a similar Word about a month ago and another one a few months ago as well about a flu of sorts that will break out globally. I’ve even shared a Word about another lockdown that will come.
The Lord has not shared with me, this time, whether it’s another COVID strain, another virus or just a bad flu.

There’s a new variant called Pirola doing the rounds. It has about 36 mutations, which is very high and has a lot of health experts spooked.
Cases of Pirola have been detected in a number of countries such as the UK, the US, South Africa, Denmark, Thailand, and few others.
The UK is currently on a vaccination drive for immunocompromised individuals between the ages of 5 and 65.
There was a similar scare with another variant called Eris recently, however, that went away quickly.
However, Pirola is different because of the number of mutations it has.
W.H.O. have declared it a variant of interest, others believe it should be on the variant of concern category.
The West has just begun their Autumn (Fall in the US) season and already numbers are going up.
Their Winter will begin in December and end in February. This virus thrives in the cold because it’s a type of flu. If infections and hospitalisations continue to rise, which is likely, the W.H.O. might deem it a variant of concern.
November to February are holiday months, and we’re likely to see the spread increase because of tourism travel.
We’ll have to wait and see how other countries respond to this.
We might be in for another global lockdown as well in an attempt to stem the tide of infections.
Definitely one to watch.
However, for us we know we’re in covenant with God.
Psalm 89:34 says, ‘My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.’
God is faithful to His covenant with His people. He has assured us of health and healing. So no matter what happens, as God’s people, we should stand on the Word of God and believe that God will take care of our bodies.
Exodus 15:26 says, ‘And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.’
God will put none of these disease that He put on the Egyptians. He is the God who heals us. More than that, He’s the God who sponsors our divine health.
We should therefore believe Him for more than healing. We should believe Him for walking in divine health where we do not get sick.
