OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF FAITH UNLOCKS YOUR INHERITANCE
When you get that Word, don’t just be excited about it, act on it.
By FAITH Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, OBEYED; and he went out, not knowing whither he went – Hebrews 11:8
Faith does more than confess. Confession is important. Confession is all essential to our Faith. However, Faith does more than just confess. Faith also obeys. That’s why the Faith of Abraham requires our careful study. Faith obeys the Commandments of God or it acts on God’s Word. That’s because Faith without Works is dead. There are written generic Commandments of God which we must all obey, such as thou shalt not kill, etc.
However, there are also Commandments God gives in the now. They come to us as Rhema, where God commands us what to do in the moment. Usually such Commandments are unique to our peculiar situation. When we obey them, the Supernatural is unleashed in our lives. When this Commandment comes, it makes no sense in the natural. It’s illogical, unreasonable, it even looks foolish or risky. Genesis 12:1 says, ‘Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land I will shew thee.’
That was the Word of Faith given to Abraham by God. When Abraham heard it, he didn’t hesitate, he didn’t just believe it and confess it, he acted on it. He obeyed that Word and a Miracle occurred and he inherited Canaan. Sometimes God will speak to you through an audible Voice, or the Scriptures, at times a Vision or a Dream, at times an Impression, or God can speak to you through a Prophet. When you get that Word, don’t just be excited about it, act on it. Obey it, because Faith obeys. Don’t just be a hearer of the Word, but be a doer of the Word. And when you do, you’ll unlock your Inheritance. That’s the Doctrine of Christ. Glory to God!
CONFESSION
I’m not just a hearer of the Word. I’m a doer of the Word. When I receive the Word of Faith, I act on it and obey it because Faith without Works is dead.
