BRIBERY IS SINFUL

MONEY MONDAY

You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous – Deuteronomy 16:19

Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ shouldn’t be party to the corruption we see in the world today. He never took a bribe nor ever gave one. We should follow His Example and walk as He walked.

Bribery is unrighteousness. Getting a job or a contract by paying a bribe is not a Blessing from God but a perversion of justice. Using money God has blessed you with to bribe a law enforcement officer in order to evade justice is unrighteous.

Many Christians are a curse to their nations because they bribe their way through life. Whole nations are unstable because Christians pay and accept bribes. Bribery is lying and all liars will have their place in the lake of fire.

PRAYER

Father in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, help me to walk in financial integrity. Help me to neither pay nor take bribes so that I may be a Blessing to the world. Amen.
