LIGHT AFFLICTION FOR A MOMENT
We have a choice, either we suffer with Christ in this life or with satan in the next. It’s that simple.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory – 2 Corinthians 4:17
The Sufferings of Christ, which we experience in this life, are both light and only for a moment. We’re talking about being persecuted, hated, mocked, violated and even killed for our Faith.
They’re light and only for a moment compared to what? Suffering in the Lake of Fire, which will be far heavier and eternal! We have a choice, either we suffer with Christ in this life or with satan in the next. It’s that simple.
And if we suffer with Christ, we’ll share in His Glory. His Glory far exceeds His Sufferings. His Sufferings are light, but His Glory is weighty. His Sufferings are temporary, but His Glory is eternal. His Sufferings are nothing compared to His Glory. Hallelujah!
