INTERNATIONAL PROPHECY: GOD IS DOING A NEW THING IN NIGERIA.

I trust you’re walking by faith and living in victory over this world as you look forward to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the world to come.

On 15 November 2023, I heard the following:

BEGINNING

Turmoil is about to break out in Nigeria. Social unrest like this nation has never seen before is coming.

I am bringing change to the nation of Nigeria but for that to happen, the old must make way for the new and there will be a battle.

Many lives will be lost. The military will have to come out to bring order to this nation again.

END

God is bringing change to the nation of Nigeria. God is doing a new thing in Nigeria. But for that new thing to come, there must be a battle first.

Since 1953, seven years before independence, Nigeria has been destabilised by political, ethnic and religious violence.

The religious and ethnic tensions in this nation manifest politically regularly.

Islamic extremists have in the recent past brought chaos and tyranny to this nation. Their insistence on Sharia law being imposed in certain areas in the North at least, or in the rest of the country at most, has brought instability through violence.

There are ethnic tensions that have long part of the history of this nation. The Eastern region seceded from the rest of the country and declared themselves the Republic of Biafra, and this led to a full-blown war that lasted about 30 months. After the fact, about 3 million lives were lost.

Nigeria is about to experience a battle that will lead to more loss of life. However, according to God, this change will only come through battle.

We need to pray and petition God for a different way for this change to come. We need to contend for the loss of life to be limited.

As a result, there has been bloodshed in this nation over the decades

There are those who will want to hang on to the old and will aim to resist this new change. There are those who will want to enforce the change that must come.

I was in Nigeria recently, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The last time I was there was in December 2019.

There’s a sense of ‘we’re international’ about the nation. The nation is starting to choose to be world class, and that’s awesome to see.

The airport has been renovated, which is a welcome relief. The reception at the airport is different. The standard at different hotels is higher and more world class.

However, there’s still so much work to do. It’s obvious that there are those who profited from the degradation and the degeneration of this nation for the longest time. For Nigeria to become world class, they will loose out by the status quo changing.

As a result, a battle is looming.

However, I think there’s a much bigger change that’s coming to Nigeria. I’ve already shared about great Nigerian ministers of the gospel who are about to go home at this hour.

The greatest change that’s coming to Nigeria will be spiritual. In fact, for the natural changes that we’ll see later on to manifest, there must first be a change in the realm of the Spirit.

The greatest battle for Nigeria and in Nigeria will first be in the realm of the Spirit. Not only will many die naturally, but there’s something that must and will die spiritually in this nation.

Just as for us to be born again we must first die, this nation is about to birth its future, however, it will first experience the death of the old to make way for the new.

The lives that will be lost will be a prophetic picture of what would have occurred in the realm of the Spirit.
