INTERNATIONAL PROPHECY: GLORIOUS NEWS FOR THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE AND LAND OF BOTSWANA.
PULA!
I trust you’re walking by faith and living in victory over this world as you look forward to the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the world to come.
On 9 October 2023, I heard and saw the following:
BEGINNING
The Lord started to speak to me about the nation of Botswana. I saw rain clouds begin to gather over the horizon of this nation. I saw multiple lightening bolts flash in the distance. It then began to rain.
Then the Lord told me that He’s changing the weather patterns of Botswana. The nation of Botswana will begin to receive above average rainfall. Rain will begin to fall outside its usual season, and over longer periods of time.
At the height of these climate changes in Botswana, this nation will even see snowfall. This will be a sign and a wonder for the people of this region and the world.
END
Botswana is an arid semi-desert region which doesn’t get much rainfall. The national average is about 425 cm a year. Even though their winter temperatures can fall as low as 2 degrees celcius, Botswana has never experienced snowfall.
However, the Lord says they’ll begin to see above average rainfall and even see snow.
I’m very excited about this word because half my family currently resides in Botswana. My late father was born and raised there. My siblings and I used to spend our holidays in Botswana with our cousins. We still go therefore weddings and funerals.
When my dad started working, he used to ride his bicycle from a village not too far from the Good Hope area called Mogobe-wa-kgomo to Mahikeng where he eventually settled. That’s where I was born and raised.
The two areas are now separated by the Ramatlabama border. In fact, the Batloung kgotlha or tribal seat of power is in Mahikeng in South Africa, even though most of their people are in Botswana. That’s because of colonisation and apartheid. Uncomfortable but real. A bit of family history there.
The reason the Botswana currency is called the Pula, which means ‘rain’ is because of an exclamation amongst the Batswana people when they part. When they say goodbye, one would say, ‘Pula!’ (rain!) and the other or the crowd would respond by saying ‘A e ne!’ which means, ‘Let it rain!’
This was and still is in response to the arid nature of the region.
It looks like the Lord has finally answered the prayers of the Batswana people and the region is about to experience above average rainfall.
And isn’t it glorious that God has used one of their sons to reveal this?
So I would like to say to the Batswana people ‘PULA!’
Glory to God!
