FALSE PROPHETS DON’T PREACH REPENTANCE
That’s because they want your money and they know the truth will scare you away.
The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the PROPHETS THEREOF DIVINE FOR MONEY: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us. – Micah 3:11
Many prophets today prophesy for money. In fact, they function as diviners and not prophets. Like sangomas and shamans, they divine for profit. And because they’re false prophets, their message is nothing but deception.
They tell their followers that God is with them, that no evil will befall them, that everything will be alright even though they’re living in sin. They’re lying. Like sangomas and shamans, false prophets will never ever tell you to repent of your sin, they never preach the fear of the Lord, and they never go anywhere near the judgment of God.
That’s because they want your money and they know the truth will scare you away. True prophets are despised, they’re called prophets of doom at this hour because of what God has told them. True prophets preach repentance. Great danger and calamity await the children of men. Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near!
PRAYER
Father in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, help me to discern true prophets from false prophets. Help me to walk in your truth and not be deceived by false prophets and their false claims. Amen.
