FAITH OBEYS
Our Obedience today is proof that there’s One coming who should be feared because He can destroy both soul and body in the Lake of Fire.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen – Hebrews 11:1
The Things hoped for and the Things not seen are the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Coming Resurrection, the New Bodies, Eternal Judgment, Eternal Rewards, the Kingdom of God and the Lake of Fire.
Faith is the substance and the evidence that we believe such. Because we believe Eternity is coming, we live in Obedience during Time. Because we know Tomorrow is coming, we live in Obedience today.
Our Obedience now is proof of what we know God will do later. Our Obedience in the present is the substance and evidence that something is coming in the future. Our Obedience today is proof that there’s One coming who should be feared because He can destroy both soul and body in the Lake of Fire.
CONFESSION
My Faith is the substance and evidence that I believe the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back. I believe when He returns, He’ll come back not as a Saviour but as a Judge, so I obey Him now.
