EXPECT MAKRO TO SHUT DOWN
It looks like something drastic is going to happen to either Massmart or Makro chain stores in particular or both.

On 10 December 2020, I saw the following:
BEGINNING
I saw one of the Makro wholesalers, a Massmart subsidiary based in South Africa, empty inside. There were no shelves and no stock inside. It was just an empty hall. In fact, there were people inside cleaning its floors as if preparing for a new tenant to move in.

It looks like something drastic is going to happen to either Massmart or Makro chain stores in particular or both. In the news of late, it has been reported that they recorded big losses due to COVID-19.
