COVID-19 GOVERNMENT RESTRICTIONS, CHURCHES AND MINISTERS

Glory to God! I trust you’re well and enjoying your Inheritance in Christ Jesus.
I got a Word from God this morning regarding the Coronavirus. As you know, I released a Word of Faith during the week against the fear-mongering that’s been doing the rounds. I spoke about how Ministers of the Gospel should keep their Churches open during this season in defiance of government decree.
Having said that, we were meant to have a programme at Church today, and the Spirit of God told me to shut everything down. By everything I mean our usual Sunday Service included, until further notice.
Amongst other things, the Spirit of God made reference to those in our midst whose Faith level isn’t what it should be and as a result, should they get infected, there will be a backlash, particularly from the parents of the teens and other minors whose parents aren’t part of the Church.
As I said, there are other reasons that I won’t mention here. Suffice it to say, we’ve shut everything down. We’re not even relying on the 100 person limit we’ve been granted. The Spirit said to shut everything down until further notice.
He went on to say that infection rates will spike over this weekend in certain areas of the world, South Africa included. As a result, Christians who will gather in their numbers in defiance of this government regulation will embolden society to blame Christianity and accuse us of being insensitive, negligent and homicidal.
In fact, the Spirit of God also told me that we should expect to see Ministers of the Gospel who defy this order to be arrested and their Services disrupted by the Police.
He further explained to me that the government is not against the preaching of the Gospel, it’s also not against the use of the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ or even Prayer.
They’re saying you can gather but just in fewer numbers. They’re saying you can pray in the Name of the Lord Jesus but just not in large numbers in the same venue.
Therefore, defying this order is not so much suffering for the Gospel since you’re not being ordered to bow your knee before a golden statue or to serve other gods.
As a Minister you might have enough Faith to survive this plague unscathed. You might even have some Congregation members whose Faith is high enough to do the same, but there are others in your Church who are not at your level.
Even though COVID-19 is defeated and God has declared it ineffectual, even though we’re beginning to see many who were infected recovering all around the world, it’s not the 28th of March yet, it’s not Passover yet. We’re expecting Good News soon, but until then, let’s listen to the Spirit of God and be led by Him.
If you’re a Minister of the Gospel and you received a different Instruction from the Lord, by all means obey Him. Ignore what I have said and do what the Spirit of God has put in your heart.
PLEASE ALSO BE ADVISED THAT THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS ALSO SAYING THAT THE SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT IS PLANNING A SERIES OF PROVINCIAL SHUTDOWNS AND A BLANKET NATIONWIDE SHUTDOWN AS WELL.
