CHRIST TAUGHT MONOGAMY
We don’t make the Word of God of no effect because of our traditions. Polygamy is a doctrine of devils taught by seducing spirits.
FAMILY FRIDAY
For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Mark 10:7-8
The Lord Jesus Christ taught monogamy. Polygamy is not the Doctrine of Christ. When we say this, many point us to Abraham, Jacob, Moses and David who were polygamous.
Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David and the others are not our example, the Lord Jesus Christ is. We’re not Abrahamites, Jacobites, Mosains, or Davidians; we’re Christians because we follow Christ.
There are those who say but that is my culture. We follow the Doctrine of Christ and not the doctrines of men. We don’t teach for doctrine the commandments of men. We don’t make the Word of God of no effect because of our traditions. Polygamy is a doctrine of devils taught by seducing spirits. It’s time to repent. Glory to God!
CONFESSION
I’m a Follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. He’s my Example, not my forefathers. I follow the Doctrine of Christ and reject all doctrines of devils. Glory to God.
