CASTING OUT DEVILS

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give – Matthew 10:7-8

Casting out devils is an integral part of preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom. It’s the Doctrine of Christ. We cast out devils today to demonstrate the reality of the Kingdom to come. It’s proof that the Kingdom exists and the Lord is coming back.

Casting out devils demonstrates the superiority of the Kingdom of God over the kingdom of darkness. Satan and his demons were destroyed on the Cross. They’ve been disarmed by the Sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

He has now given us authority over them to make them submissive to us. That’s why when we’re confronted with demons, like our Lord Jesus Christ, we must cast them out. We must demonstrate the reality of the Kingdom so that others may repent because the Lord is near. Glory to God!

PRAYER

Father in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for the privilege of preaching the Gospel. Thank You that I can demonstrate the Kingdom by casting our devils and compel others to repent before the Lord Jesus Christ returns. Amen.
