BORN FROM ABOVE
That’s why we have to be the head and not the tail, above always and never beneath.
And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world – John 8:23
The Lord Jesus Christ overwhelmed the system of the world when He was in it. He was an anomaly. He was from above and everyone was from below. He was not of this world. He was from a different civilisation, a different World, the World to Come. As a result, everything in this dimension bowed to Him. Everything earthly was inferior to Him. He was a Man with Eternal Life and everyone and everything around Him was dead.
That’s how we are right now. We’ve been raised up together with Christ and are seated in Heavenly Places at the Right Hand of the Father in Christ Jesus. We’re born from above. Our Life is from above and not beneath. We’re in this world but not of it. We’re from a different World, the World to Come. We were born with a different Life compared to the people of this world. With Eternal Life in our Spirits, we are anomalies in this world. Everything on earth is below us. We were born with the Capacity to dominate this world like the Lord Jesus Christ did.
Luke 6:40 says, ‘A disciple is not above the teacher, and everyone fully trained will be like his teacher.’ The Lord Jesus Christ is our Teacher and we’re His Disciples. He came to teach us how to live Eternal Life on earth, how to live in the Kingdom of Heaven while still on earth. The Life inside us is superior to everything around us. That’s why we have to be the head and not the tail, above always and never beneath. That’s why everything we touch must prosper. We’re not subject to the forces of this world because we’ve been endued with the Powers of the World to come. All creation is waiting in anticipation for the manifestation of the Sons of God, it’s waiting for us to take our place. It’s time for us to arise in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have the Life of the Lord Jesus Christ and He’s given to us everything we need for us to be like Him. As He is, so are we in this world.
CONFESSION
I am born again, born from above. I’m not of this world. I’m not subject to the forces of this world. I’m the head and not the tail, I’m above always and never beneath. Glory to God!
