BE RELEASED FROM THE FEAR OF DEATH
We’re not afraid to die for Him because we know when He returns, He’ll raise us from the dead and usher us into His glorious Kingdom.
Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus – Acts 21:13
The Apostle Paul was ready to die for the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. That was because of the Gospel the Early Church preached and believed. Many of them were eyewitnesses to the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
They knew there was no coming back from dying on a Roman cross. But the Lord Jesus Christ did come back. When they saw Him alive, they knew that death no longer had power. That’s why you couldn’t threaten them with death.
We’re Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lord holds the keys to hell and death. His Resurrection has delivered us from the bondage of the fear of death. We’re not afraid to die for Him because we know when He returns, He’ll raise us from the dead and usher us into His glorious Kingdom. Glory to God!
CONFESSION
The Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ has released me from the bondage of the fear of death. That’s why I don’t fear dying for Him. I am confident that when He returns, He’ll raise me from the dead also. Glory to God!
