ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother – 1 John 3:10

According to the Doctrine of Christ, a good tree bears good fruit and a bad tree bears bad fruit. The righteous are righteous because they do righteousness. The unrighteous are unrighteous because they do unrighteousness. That’s how we know who’s who.

Bad people do bad things and good people do good things. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit just like a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. A Christian doesn’t live in unrighteousness just like an unbeliever doesn’t live in righteousness. Those who say they’re Christians but live in sin are not Christians but sinners.

Confessing that you’re the righteousness of God and yet live in sin is a contradiction. You’re what you do and not what you say. Actions speak louder than words. Instead of confessing that you’re righteous when you sin rather confess your sins to God that He may forgive you because He loves you. Glory to God!

PRAYER

Father in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I confess my sins before you. I ask that you forgive me my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness because you’re faithful and just and you love me. Amen.
