Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son – 2 John 9

The Early Church took the Apostles very seriously. They knew that these men had been taught by the Lord Jesus Christ personally. They knew these men had sat under the Ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ for three and a half years.

As a result, they respected their Authority in the Church because they’re the Foundation of the Church. We should do the same today. The Apostle John emphasized the importance of the Doctrine of Christ. He cautioned against not abiding in it, we should pay attention and listen.

The Doctrine of Christ is the Teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. It’s the Red Letters in your Bible. Anyone who didn’t teach this Doctrine was considered a heretic who doesn’t have the Father or the Son. It’s time to hear the Early Church Fathers and return to the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

I have both the Father and the Son. That’s why I abide in the Doctrine of Christ and refuse to transgress it. Glory to God!
