Glory to God! I trust you’re well and denying yourself, taking up your Cross daily and following the Example of the Lord Jesus Christ so you can rule and reign with Him in this world and the World to Come.

Below is the first part of the Prophetic Word for 2023 I shared last night at our CrossOver Service. Part 2 has to do with those who share in the same Grace God has granted me, like those at Christian Consulate Church, and also the Prophet Community on this page. It’s just for you and I. I’ll share that soon.

2023: THE YEAR OF LIGHT COMING OUT OF DARKNESS

2 Corinthians 4:6 says, ‘For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.’

God is calling Light our of darkness at this hour. Notice how Light is already embedded in the darkness.

Genesis 1:1-5 says, ‘In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw

that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.’

God always begins with darkness and then moves to Light. First Saul then David. First the natural then the spiritual. First Adam then the Lord Jesus Christ.

THE GRID COLLAPSES, POWER-FAILURES AND BLACKOUTS YOU’RE SEEING AROUND THE WORLD WILL INCREASE. ADVANCED NATIONS MANY THOUGHT WOULD NEVER SIT IN THE DARK FOR PROLONGED PERIODS OF TIME WILL DO SO IN THIS SEASON.

THESE GRID FAILURES ARE PROPHETIC. THEIR NATURAL DARKNESS MIRRORS THE DARKNESS THAT HAS BEEN RELEASED IN THE REALM OF THE SPIRIT. INSTEAD OF LIGHT, THE WORLD WILL SEE DARKNESS FOR PROLONGED PERIODS OF TIME.

Power cuts have been increasing in South Africa, but so has the spiritual darkness. We saw how a President who campaigned on clean governance ticket, Cyril Ramaphosa, was shielded from facing justice thus intensifying the corruption in this nation.

As these power cuts intensify in South Africa, we should expect to see more darkness released. This will also happen in developed nations. When you see them struggle with their electricity grids, just watch the spiritual darkness increase in those nations.

AS THE POWER CUTS INTENSIFY, THE DARKNESS WILL MULTIPLY.

I shared a Prophetic Word last year that the death of queen Elizabeth would usher the human race into a new era. Her life was a buffer against great evil and darkness, both in the UK and the rest of the world. That when she goes, we’ll see evil like we’ve never seen it before, both in the UK and the world.

WE’RE ENTERING A NEW ERA OF HUMAN HISTORY

Habakkuk 1:5 says, ‘“Look at the nations and watch— and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.’

Isaiah 43:18-19 says, ‘Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?

This will be evidenced not only in the decisions of political and business leaders, but in new technological advances.

I shared a Prophetic Word in 2021 where the Lord spoke about dark technology overtaking the human race. The Lord spoke about how He will cause technology to advance at a more accelerated pace. We’ve living in that time right now. There’s technology that has been released on to the earth and it’s so dark, it will make your mind spin.

Chat GPT, a chatbot launched in November 2022 by Open AI and led by Sam Altman is a case in point.

This is AI technology with the potential to not only change the course of human history but to change what we classify as human.

WHAT ABOUT THE CHURCH?

GOD WILL SEPARATE THE CHURCH FROM THE WORLD

GOD IS SEPARATING THE LIGHT FROM THE DARKNESS

1 Peter 2:9 says, ‘But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.’

God will cause His People, His Remnant to be separate from the world at this hour. We’ll see a clear distinction between the Church and the world. The world will become progressively dark but the Church will shine like a City on a Hill.

2 Corinthians 6:17-18 says, ‘ Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.’

We’ll see God’s People, the true ones that is, shun evil and embrace Good. We’ll see them shun the broadway and take the Narrow Road.

Revelation 18:4 says, ‘And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.’

God will judge the world with His Plagues at this hour, but as long His People are living in Obedience to Him, they will not be touched. It will be like Israel in Egypt. While the Egyptians suffered horrible plagues, the Israelites in Goshen experienced God’s Hand of Protection.

WHAT WILL GOD DO IN THE CHURCH?

1 Peter 4:17 says, ‘For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?’

GOD IS SEPARATING THE LIGHT FROM THE DARKNESS IN THE CHURCH

HE’S SEPARATING THE SHEEP FROM THE GOATS

Matthew 15:13 says, ‘But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.’

Those who’ve been playing Church will backslide at this hour. False prophets and teachers will be exposed and judged. There’ll be a clear distinction between true Christians and hypocrites. By their fruit, ye shall know them.

THERE WILL BE A FALLING AWAY

1 Timothy 4:1-2 says, ‘Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.’

Many will leave the Faith at this hour. They’ll either do so through the false teachings they’ll embrace, or they’ll renounce the Faith altogether. Watch out for many in the Church begin to embrace the LGBTQI movement under the guise of love.

THERE WILL BE DIVISIONS IN THE CHURCH

Because of God’s Move of the Spirit, there will be resistance from those who don’t want the Spirit. This will lead to Church splits.

Because of false doctrines, true Christians will break away from corrupt Churches and Ministries.

THERE WILL BE REPORTS OF SCANDALS

Luke 12:13-14 says, ‘There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known.’

Expect more Church and Ministry scandals to be exposed at this hour.

THERE WILL BE PERSECUTION

As true Christians stand up for Truth, they’ll be persecuted for their boldness. Persecution will come from both the Church and governments.

CONCLUSION

Isaiah 60:1-2 says, ‘Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.’

Even though there’ll be gross darkness released this year, God will cause His People to shine. We’re the Light of the world.

John 8:12 says, ‘Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.’

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Light that shines inside us. As long as we follow His Example of Faith, He will shine in us and men will follow Him.

There’s a second part to this which pertains to people who share in the Grace God has given to me. Even though all of the above will happen, something unique and different will happen with us.
